Andrea's Wedding

Recently did a wedding at a gorgeous venue in South Wirral - Inglewood Manor.
The bride choose a classic Audrey Hepburn style, french twist at the back and height created on top followed by her tiara. I felt the look really suited her. For makeup we kept it fresh and simple, we used an eyeliner from Bobbi brown - chocolate shimmer which really brought out Andrea's eyes.
The two little bridesmaids wore white flowers in their hair, I loosely curled the hair and twisted up into a bunch of curls, creating a very soft and pretty finish.

Shoot - India Hobson

Here's a recent shoot I did with fabulous Photographer India Hobson (link on my page) and Model Daisy Pettinger (Boss model management) and stylist/ fashion designer Laura Thomas styled the shoot. Had a great location huge room all to ourselves. The makeup and hair was kept natural with flushed coral cheeks and a few lip changes corals/browns.

Bridal Faye

Today's bridal fayre at St Margaret's Church was great fun and really relaxed, the sun was shining and had lots of giggles as well as a good bacon buttie and mini cake with my gorgeous sister! (Thank you Bobin)

Special Occasion Hair/Makeup

I recently had a previous bride contact me for special occasion hair and makeup as she was this time attending her friends wedding. She gave me a cute card and bottle of Rose wine which was a lovely bonus! Here is the finished look (before she put on her glad rags that is).

Andrea's Wedding

In February I had the pleasure of doing the hair and makeup for Andrea's wedding. I think she may be the most relaxed bride I have done and the house was filled with her lovely hearty laugh. It was a great morning. Andrea choose a classic low barrel curled style with a side partin and diamante twists added to the back for sparkle. Makeup was very natural with plenty of waterproof mascara and individual lashes for extra wow factor and the bridesmaids had loose curls with flower accessories, simple but effective.

Bridal Faye

I will be attending the St Margaret's charity wedding fayre in Dunham Massey on the 10th April 2010 with my portfolio and business cards etc. Between 11am - 3pm.

Billy Elliot - My sister

My fabulous Sister Robyn Elizabeth Salt had one of the lead rolls in her school play for her final year at Reddish Vale Technology college. She has preformed in the plays every year and has increased her wow factor year after year! I am soooo proud of her and she is very very talented.

Robyn played the role of the dance teacher in the famous Billy Elliot and blew us away. Though out the week the teachers were repeatedly asked if she had been hired in from a college to play the role. :-)
I had the task of make up for the lead characters for the week which was great fun as they were all so lovely and it was great to be involved.
Here are a few pics from the show and backstage.
Well done Bobin - can't wait to see what you do next! xx

Lucy Jay Shoot - Scarfs

I had the pleasure of working with Lucy Jay http://www.lucy-jay.com/ http://www.lucyjay.blogspot.com/ in March who is a budding designer! She has created a beautiful scarf collection with a very retro feel to them. Absolutely love the designs. The photographer for the shoot was the lovely Sarah Patel http://www.sarahpatel.com/ who did a great job on the day. Here are the shots from the day. Love the heart cheeks and plaited hair/scarf.
