Engaged

I'm very excited to say Alex and I are now engaged after he proposed on the 11th of August. Alex took me to have my ring designed and I absolutely love the ring ( and Alex of course ;-) ) Lots of planning ahead!

Kim - Bride

Today I did the hair and makeup for the Lovely Bride Kim. Kim came all the way from Canada for a traditional Chinese Wedding. Hence we didn't have chance for a trial, but everything ran smoothly and Kim looked beautiful. Kim decided on a intricate style keeping the front soft and sweeping. For the makeup Kim wanted the focus to be the eyes. I used a plum eyeshadow with black cake eyeliner with a flick to elongate the eyes. We added a few individual lashes to the outer corners of the eyes which complimented the flicks. For lips Kim choose a soft pink and a hint of gloss to highlight.

Andrea's Wedding

Recently did a wedding at a gorgeous venue in South Wirral - Inglewood Manor.

The bride choose a classic Audrey Hepburn style, french twist at the back and height created on top followed by her tiara. I felt the look really suited her. For makeup we kept it fresh and simple, we used an eyeliner from Bobbi brown - chocolate shimmer which really brought out Andrea's eyes.

The two little bridesmaids wore white flowers in their hair, I loosely curled the hair and twisted up into a bunch of curls, creating a very soft and pretty finish.

Shoot - India Hobson

Here's a recent shoot I did with fabulous Photographer India Hobson (link on my page) and Model Daisy Pettinger (Boss model management) and stylist/ fashion designer Laura Thomas styled the shoot. Had a great location huge room all to ourselves. The makeup and hair was kept natural with flushed coral cheeks and a few lip changes corals/browns.

Bridal Faye

Today's bridal fayre at St Margaret's Church was great fun and really relaxed, the sun was shining and had lots of giggles as well as a good bacon buttie and mini cake with my gorgeous sister! (Thank you Bobin)
